- Internazional Week of Ballet (Spoleto, March-April)
The International Week of Ballet is a contest for young dancers
(between 12 and 24 years), whose purpose is to search and discover new
stars in the world of classic and modern dance, under the artistic
direction of Alberto Testa.
- Wines in the World (Spoleto, June)
Every year, from the
1st to the 3rd of June, Spoleto becomes the italian capital of wines:
wineries, tasting, exhibitions, many wine labels and thousands of
bottles opened and, on saturday nught, the great White Night of Wines...
- Festival of Two Worlds (Spoleto, June-July)
From an idea of Giancarlo Menotti, the most important artistic event in
town: the Festival of Two Worlds, founded in 1958 by the 'Maestro',
dead in 2007, year of the 50th anniversary. Concerts, opera, ballet,
cinema theatre and drama in the festival program of any year.
- Umbria Jazz (Perugia, July)
August 23rd 1973 is the date of the first concert at Umbria Jazz, today
one of the most important jazz festival worldwide.
- Euro-Chocolate (Perugia, October)
Born in 1994, Eurochocolate is today one of the most important european
events entirely dedicated to the world of chocolate, italian and
international.
